Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Tortoiseshell / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Mimi's approximate date of birth is December 30, 2023. She is spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/Felv. Her adoption fee is $325.00 + tax. Meet Mimi! Mimi is a one-year-old tortoiseshell sweetheart with just the right mix of affection, independence, and a little bit of sass. She loves attention and will happily rub, roll, and soak up all the pets—but only in the approved Mimi Zones! (Top of the head? Maybe not until you earn her trust. Chin scritches and back rubs? Yes, please!). Mimi will do best with a patient family who understands that she will need time to settle in before showing her true, affectionate self. A quiet, child-free home where she can relax and adjust at her own pace with a loving human who respects that she’s not a fan of being picked up yet, is required. She does love pets and will rub on her people once she feels safe. Don't underestimate this little girl with her play skills, she is a master of the wand toy and loves to catch her toy in mid air! Mimi has lived with her littermates before, so she might be okay with another cat, but she’ll need time to decide if she wants a new feline roommate. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and independent companion who just needs a little patience to bloom, Mimi is ready to find her perfect home! Apply today to let Mimi settle into your heart (on her own schedule, of course! *If you would be interested in meeting a Saving Tails Animal Rescue pet or being considered for an adoption, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.org. Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a 501(c)3 registered no-kill, non profit animal rescue. All animals are placed in loving foster homes until their forever family finds them. Because there is not a physical shelter location, foster homes are needed to help rescue local animals who are in danger of euthanasia. If you would be interested in fostering an animal in need, please complete a foster application at savingtails.org.
