Meet Daxter, a great family cat. He needs some time to warm up to new people, but once he's comfortable, he'll be your best companion. He trills "hello" when meeting his people as they come in the door. His favorite place to hang out is on his foster family's screened porch so that he can watch squirrels and feel the breeze on his fur. Daxter is gentle and patient with respectful children in his foster home (ages three and eight). He loves pets and scratches and will tolerate a nice tummy rub. At night, Daxter sleeps at the foot of the bed. He's a healthy cat, but chunky. He's been working on losing weight at his foster home. Daxter is from an owner surrender.
