Precious is a gentle and timid cat who is slowly building her confidence. After 10 weeks in our care, she has just started venturing into the hallway from her safe space in the bedroom. She spends much of her time under the futon but will occasionally come out for pets when I’m in the room. Loud noises startle her, so she would thrive in a quiet home with one or two patient adults. When she feels safe and comfortable, Precious is incredibly affectionate and playful. She has a great appetite and appears to be in good health. At her vet visit, a slight heart sound was noted—possibly a murmur—but it may have been due to her nerves at the time. With the right home, we’re confident Precious will continue to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.
