Mr. Darcy is a handsome and debonair gentleman who is looking for love. He was adopted from HHS as a kitten a few years ago and sadly, was surrendered back to us recently because his mom was moving overseas and could not afford the cost to move him with her. Poor fella was quite upset and confused at first, understandably so, but after several days of decompressing, he has become quite the sweet and lovable cat. I wasn't sure how he would do with other kitties since he lived as an only cat in his previous home, but he's adjusted quite well and gets along just fine with them. He's very affectionate and often gives hugs and face nuzzles to me when he wants love. He's a bit of a talker and chirps when he's hungry or wants attention. Darcy is a mellow and mannerly kitty and likes to be where his people are. He will probably need a brief adjustment period to settle into a new routine and home, but he seems to warm up pretty quickly. I think he would do best in a quiet home without young kids. He might adjust to a calm, cat-friendly dog but hasn't been exposed to any in his previous home to my knowledge. He has very soft, silky fur and big gorgeous green eyes. He likes to play with feather stick toys and enjoys catnip. Darcy is fully vetted and ready to find his happily ever after... please consider giving this gent his storybook ending.
