Description:

All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step.Hello Kitten Seeker. So nice to see you here. I am Rotini and I am bonded with Penne, so we must go together. I am a sweet funny female and very pretty, if I say so myself. I have white with gray patch fur – which looks so stunning on me, don’t you think? I am so cute that I carry a loaded spring around me and I growl like a dog. I absolutely love children – almost as much as I love Penne – do not tell anyone that though. Children make me happy, and I love to entertain them. So, playing with a NERF ball and springs entertains the kids – I am all for it. If you do not have children- well, Penne and I can entertain you. When I am happy, I purr a loud motor. You will not mistake that motor for anything other than purrfect bliss. However, I know how to silence that motor when I play Hide and Seek. I am very good at it and I know when to sneakily peek around the corner to be sure the coast is clear- then head straight for the goal. Which is you! Admit it! You need us in your life. You will love that I sleep all cute and stretched out on the bed, on a blanket or on the chair. You can pet me anytime you want because I love it. Sometimes I steal other kitty’s food -- hehehe or play in the water dish. I cannot help it – it is so much fun. I am sure you want to have fun with me too. I do love my toys, and you will see me walking around with my favorite toy, spring.’ It is incredibly special to me. I will take one with me so I can show you about what I am talking. Occasionally, I do have frights. One biggy is loud noises. If someone accidentally dropped a pan, you would be a little scared too… right? So sometimes, loud noises scare me. It does not define me though. If it is extremely noisy – I’ll go to a quiet place. Do not worry, I am not traumatized - just getting used to strange noises is all. Dogs… oh how I love dogs. Is it me? Or my scent? But dogs love me too. I do not mind them hanging around close to me. I feel safer having them there anyway. I get along well with my own species- the feline. No problem there. Male – female. I do not judge and I’m not prejudiced either. I do not judge by the color, but by the character. Finally, I have no medical concerns. I am a healthy straightshooter and would love to be you’re forever best friend. I’m a little timid at first, but I open up just fine. Don’t forget about Penne. All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
