Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Aspen - Female DOB 10/28/2023 Domestic Short Hair - Black & White Aspen is a sweet, shy girl who’s just waiting for the right family to call her own. She’s the kind of cat who finds happiness in life’s simple pleasures—a sunny window to bask in, a quiet spot to curl up in, and a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. Watching the world go by from a warm, sunny perch is one of her favorite pastimes. She is quite food motivated and if allowed to free feed, her face would continually be in the trough, lol. Breakfast and supper are definitely her favorite times of the day. Aspen is a sweet, little bit shy, black and white kitty with large, round, golden eyes and cute markings on her nose. When she sees you walking towards her, she will start talking to you to make sure you stop and pet her and give her some attention. She will continue to talk to you as long as you are near her and petting her. She has been picked on the whole time she was at the southern foster by their personal cat. This made Aspen afraid of other cats, and stay hidden most of the time, and when she did come out, she’s constantly looking over her shoulder. Once she is able to settle into her new home and not be afraid of other cats, she will slowly blossom into the sweet, loveable kitty we know she is. Because of this, we think she will be happiest being your only kitty and being the center of your attention, or she may also be ok with another older calm, laid back, non-aggressive kitty. Aspen can be a bit reserved at first, but once she starts to feel comfortable, you’ll catch her greeting you with a soft little “hello” when she’s ready for some gentle pets. She’s not too keen on the hustle and bustle of a busy household, so a calm, quiet home without dogs or children would suit her best. With a little patience and a lot of love, Aspen’s sweet personality will shine. If you're looking for a peaceful, loving companion to share slow mornings, cozy afternoons, and quiet evenings, Aspen might just be the perfect match.
