Female Cat,
Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Located in Galloway NJ and must be picked up from this location. Clementine must be adopted with her sister Cleo-Pawtra. Clementine and Cleo-Pawtra are two of four siblings who came into foster care feral. They were all scheduled to be euthanized but Only Maine Coons Rescue took them all in. Clementine is the long-haired tabby with green eyes. She has a completely brown nose with two freckles on either side up near her eyes. This little fuzz ball has come a long way but still needs to become more trusting of humans. She loves wand toys. If it's one with a bell, she comes eager to play as soon as she hears that jingle. She is more trusting of people who sit on the floor and don't tower over her. She loves chasing small balls and curls of pipe cleaners. Often, she walks around with toys in her mouth. She is a lovely little girl who likes to snuggle after her meals. She has even fallen asleep while snuggling. She enjoys the back of her hind legs caressed. She lays on her back and holds her legs up in the air to get them scratched. Its quite comical the way she lays for her hind legs to be scratched. Of course she loves the usual cat spots, like ears and head, face and when she is comfortable, she asks for belly rubs. She makes little chirps and churtle noises. Often, she walks around chirping with her siblings or talking to her foster mom. Her chirps and churtles are not loud, they are an adorable noise. Cleo-Pawtra, the black and white short haired baby seems to be the protector of her siblings. They would be all bunched up in a lump with Cleo-Pawtra on the top of the pile. She also has one eye lined in black. It looks like she is wearing eyeliner and her eyes are gold. She was the first one to come around and become socialized. She has made great progress. She has become quite a sweety. She is vocal but not as much as her sister, Clementine. She tolerated her nails getting trimmed without a fuss. She loves her back and head scratched and caressed. When she is really relaxed, she likes her belly rubbed. She initiates snuggling time, climbing on a lap to fall asleep. At nap time, on cold days, she seeks out the heated beds. There is a picture above of her lying on her back on a heated pad. Cleo-Pawtra's favorite toys are small pom-pom balls and curls of pipe cleaners. If thrown, she chases them. She also carries small toys around in her mouth. At nighttime she tends to sleep curled up next to her human companion's legs or with her siblings. She seeks out warm spots. She is very curious and confident when she is comfortable. She needs to check out everything you are doing. She is the supervisor when her litter box is being cleaned. She is quite vocal when her food is being prepared. She is not as vocal as her sister, Clementine, but she does have a cute petite meow and makes little churtles here and there. These two baby girls are bonded. They must go together. They love on each other, sleep together, clean each other and play together, wrestle, eat together. Perfect companions.
