Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair
Description:
Meet Rye, the most confident of his littermates. He is a playful and curious guy who enjoys being pet and playing with toys. He is the first to approach visitors to the “kitten room” where he stays in his foster home, quickly warming up and allowing pets and cuddles. Rye is being fostered with his littermates, Juniper and Barley. Rye is positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus) which means he can only cohabitate with other FeLV+ kitties. FeLV is species- specific and only contagious to other cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. Rye is good with other cats; he has not been around children or dogs. You are welcome to visit Barley or his siblings in my home where they are being fostered, I live in Saylorsburg, PA.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Our application can be found under the "Adopt" menu on our website: www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org. ---FURR is a 100% volunteer organization. Every penny donated goes to paying our vet bills, caring for our cats, and TNR. FURR is a 501(c)3 organization so donations are tax deductible.
