Description:
Meet Inky and Blinky, a fantastic mother-daughter duo who are simply wonderful fully-black cats. They are very nearly identical except in size (Blinky has some growing to do - once she catches up to mom's size, good luck telling them apart!). They currently live in a household with a few other cats and a couple of dogs. Neither of them is afraid of the dogs (anymore; there was an adjustment period, but they've learned that the dogs respond appropriately to their feline superiority and a good hissing reprimand usually corrects the dog). Momma Inky is so chill about the resident dog, Clyde, that she lets him literally sit on her. Inky and Blinky need to be adopted together as they are a bonded pair - they play together (Inky wasn't much more than a kitten herself when she found herself suddenly a mother); they groom each other; they hang out and sleep together. Inky is very friendly and will sit with the foster human and seek out attention from her; Blinky is more reserved but doesn't object to being picked up, petted, handled, etc. While they are currently housed with other cats, they would do fine as a 'solo' pair, or they can integrate into a household with other cats (Blinky needs to be spayed, which is causing a minor issue with one of the household females; that'll be fixed (no pun intended) before Blinky goes to a new home). Please save their foster from foster-failing with these two. Said foster has been fostering for CCR for a few years; this pair...they pose the biggest temptation out of all the cats that have gone through their home. They are a complete joy to have in the house and will make a stellar addition to yours. To be considered for their forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at [email protected]. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (Inky and Blinky are actually in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)
