My name is Tessie. I'm about a year old. I am a real love bug! I'm not sure why or how, but I suddenly found myself lost on the streets in Camden, NJ. I was hungry and scared, but I mustered up enough courage to walk up to a very kind woman and told her that I was lost and confused. I wasn't sure if my family abandoned me or if I just wondered too far from home. All I know is that I was scared, hungry and alone. This very kind woman picked me up, hugged me, told me that everything would be OK and took me to her home. She showed me lots of love, but unfortunately could not keep me because she already had many other cats that she also rescued. She reached out to the very kind folks at BCAA and they agreed to help find me a foster family who would love and care for me until I found my FUREVER HOME. I'm a good girl who uses the litter box, and I am very well behaved. I'm a real chatterbox and I just love to tell humans how much I love all of the attention that they are willing to give me.
