HISTORY: HEATHCLIFF came to Felines & Friends when found to be FIV+. However, as is typical with many FIV+ cats, this cat has no symptoms, is in excellent health and expected to live a normal lifespan. While conventional thinking is to only place an FIV+ cat in a home with no other cats or with another FIV+ cat, there are many “mixed households.” According to Cornell University, the primary mode of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) transmission is through repeated fights resulting in the exchange of blood, and it poses no threat to humans or other species. TEMPERAMENT: HEATHCLIFF is a handsome orange tabby who arrived at Felines & Friends with an injured tail and an FIV+ test result. This sweet boy has now fully recovered and is ready to for a cushy indoor life in a new forever home.
