Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

These kittens must be up on the trends because they are indeed very demure and very mindful, thoroughly enjoying the transition from Brat Summer to Sweater Weather (often by sleeping on them). Astrid and Robada are, without a doubt, the friendliest and cuddliest kittens you’ll ever meet. If you sit in their presence, you can expect them each to take up residence on either thigh (or either shoulder!) within a matter of seconds, gazing at you lovingly with their big green eyes. When not enjoying the lap cat life, Astrid and Robada enjoy snuggling and playing with one another, tussling lightly with frequent pauses to check that the other is okay to proceed. They also love to explore, toddling forth with all the bravery of a jungle cat, only to return to you moments later to make sure you’re coming with. You’ll never lose these two because they’ll trust you and see you as their home base from the get-go. Between the two of them, Astrid (the charcoal darling with the white socks, gloves, ascot, and charming fur mustache) is the goofball. She loves to stare off into space, gnaw on her toys in focused contentment, and scream at you when you adjust a little bit as if to say “hey what’s the big idea? I was just getting comfortable!” She also loves anything that moves on a screen and will gladly join you for an Instagram bed rot sesh or for your daily freewriting during National Novel Writing Month. Robada (the tabby with a color palette straight out of Old Hollywood), on the other hand, will convince you at times that she has a full human brain in her little walnut head. She’ll leap up to greet you if you sit close enough to the ground or politely request to be held, depending on her mood. While her sister likes to burrow into the folds of sheets and legs, Robada’s preferred nap spot is just northeast of the sternum, so close to your face that you can feel her purrs vibrate your cheek. The only thing Robada doesn’t like are closed doors that keep her from spending time with you - she’ll reach under their frames to see if that will do anything (unfortunately for her, it will not). These two cats love each other, big cats, and most of all humans. They will cherish whatever place they call their forever home.
