Description:

*To meet or adopt Bustelo, please come visit him in our Adoption Room! We're open 12-5pm weekends and we're located behind Beastie Bestie at 751 Franklin Ave. We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites.*Age: young adult, approximately 1 year old*Temperament: total lap kitty, friendly, easygoing, affectionate, sweet, gentle*Special needs: Bustelo is FIV+, therefore his adoption fee is reduced to $150! Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives - read more about it below. Bustelo was abandoned on Park Place along with his siblings Hibiscus, Rooibos, Matcha, Chamomile & Rosehip. All 6 are now available for adoption in our Adoption Room!Bustelo (aka Bubu) is dreamy and gentle. He's a total lap kitty! He gets along famously with the other kitties in his family, but he could also go home as a single. He does enjoy an occasional munch on some plants, so we recommend placing houseplants out of his reach.Bubu is FIV+. FIV is a common virus that can affect a cat's immune system. Cats may never show symptoms, and can live a long and normal life span with lots of good care & love! FIV is transmitted through bites that draw blood, so there is a low risk of transmission, however we recommend that FIV+ cats not be commingled with other kitties unless they too are FIV+. Bubu is currently asymptomatic and his medical records and appearance indicate that he's healthy! To meet or adopt Bustelo, please come visit him in our Adoption Room! We're open weekends 12-5pm and we're located behind Beastie Bestie at 751 Franklin Ave.----------GOOD HOME is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested and microchipped. Our adoption process includes an application, a friendly conversation, a quick home check, a contract and an adoption fee of $250 per cat (which helps us cover veterinary care) and $150 for seniors or cats with manageable illnesses. The fee is $25 for FeLV+ or cats that require especially high levels of ongoing care.
