Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Didi! Her fosters write: Didi is a gorgeous pink, gray, and orange Calico female who is about two years old. She was very clearly someone’s pet at some point because she is 100% socialized and litterbox trained but she was let go and then learned to fend for herself on the street. But Didi is talkative, outgoing, affectionate, and exceptionally smart, and she made her way by meeting people along a block-and-a-half radius of homes and apartments, alternately being fed by those she met or staying in their basements. The first time we met, she came right up on our stoop and tried to walk inside when we opened the door. After we fed her the first time, she kept coming back, and it was obvious that she was looking for a home; this was in mid-July, and we have been fostering her since. In the interim she has gone from scrawny and filthy to well fed, clean, and soft. Being indoors has also allowed her to rest and relax. She meets us at the door of her room, talks and chitters, curls the tip of her tail, rubs against shins, and waits for a pickup and cuddle before she eats, and she is finally getting a chance to learn how to play! Didi is a gorgeous, charming, and truly sweet-natured cat who is more than ready for her forever home, and whoever adopts her will get a loving companion who is in every way exceptional! Didi likes to be the star of the show and would prefer to be an only cat! Didi is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
