Description:
*To meet or adopt Holly, please submit a Q&A for her at https://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt! We are not able to reply to DMs, emails or inquiries made through 3rd party pet adoption websites.*Age: young, approximately 1 year old as of 4/15/2024*Temperament: super cute & playful, loves attention, wants to be near you, but doesn't love being handled yet*Holly will benefit from an experienced adopter who is looking for a playful companion for their resident kittyAn upstate New Yorker saw a post about kittens who'd been born inside a flowerpot and reached out to our friend @orchardsinspace, who reached out to us. We trapped the family and @orchardsinspace initially fostered them. Once the kittens (Flower & Sprout) were weaned, they moved into foster care with @goodhome_bergenbabies and @goodhome_furbabies. Mama Holly (aka Holly Berry) moved into @brooklyncatfarm, where it turns out she's barely older than a kitten herself! In foster care, Holly is the most playful kitty in town! She can entertain herself for hours but also loves playing with other cats. Thus we think she'd make a wonderful companion to a kitty seeking a playmate! Holly is a really nice cat who seeks out human attention and wants to be involved in whatever's going on. That said, she can't really be handled yet. She'll take treats from your hand and will tap your leg as you pass to say hello. She's really not a spirit cat or feral, she's just undersocialized. Over time she has the potential to blossom in a stable home with an experienced & patient human (and a friendly, confident feline playmate who can help teach her that human touch is enjoyable!).To meet or adopt Holly, please submit a Q&A for her on our website: https://goodhomepetadoptions.org/adopt!-------GOOD HOME is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested and microchipped. Our adoption process includes an application, a friendly conversation, a quick home check, a contract and an adoption fee of $250 per cat (which helps us cover veterinary care) and $150 for seniors or cats with manageable illnesses. The fee is $25 for FeLV+ or cats that require especially high levels of ongoing care.
