Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Please contact the Cat Team ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. DOB: 03/07/24 Cecil has a solid dark gray/blue coat and loves spending time with his brothers (Hugo and Eli) as well as the other resident cats in his foster home. He and his brothers came to GRASP as scared 3-month-old kittens and unfortunately in the time it has taken in foster care to socialize them, they have been overlooked with almost no interest or applications.Cecil is shy, and will take some time to warm up to new people, generally preferring the company of other cats. He does enjoy humans when they have treats and interactive wand toys, but is somewhat more independent. Due to this, he will need a home that is patient and understanding and that has at least one other friendly kitty for him to bond with (or to be adopted with a brother or two). He also enjoys tall cat towers, having access to lots of windows to watch birds from, and being pet - especially when he gets sleepy and will purr a bunch for this.Cecil is looking for a home with folks who are somewhat experienced cat owners and are willing to help him continue to blossom in his confidence. He has not met young children or dogs, and given his timid and cautious nature it thought that he would not do well with either. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
