Matilda, Tilly for her friends (everyone), entered our care after her family moved away and left her outside. She was fed by a kind neighbor for almost 5 weeks before joining our rescue. At her foster she immediately showed how sweet and wonderful she is, sleeping on her foster and wanting to be petted. She loves playing with a laser pointer and string. She also loves to eat treats.Tilly is positive for Feline Leukemia (FELV+), which means she will need to be an only cat. She has been temperament tested with another cat with Feline Leukemia and she prefers to be a solo kitty anyway so that she can get all the attention and spend time with her people. We are working with a vet to provide continued care for her condition and will educate her adopter on how to continue this care. At this time she is fully asymptomatic and is living a happy, healthy life just like any other cat. Many kitties who are FELV+ continue to live normal lives, it is just important to ensure they are indoors only and receive regular check ups! Please consider giving this sweet girl her forever home.
