Description:
BONDED PAIR: Marley is the ultimate companion cat! She had an adjustment period of about 1 hour. She won't hide. She's comfortable moving around anywhere in your home & loves people. With other cats, she's not aggressive & will pretty much ignore any hissing or unfriendly behavior if no attack is made towards her.She is an outgoing, active, talkative girl. Strong & quite fearless, she loves to play. If you have a wand toy, she will chase it for as long as you are willing to engage. And she has a meow for almost everything - when she wants something, if she's chasing a toy, & if you confine her to a room, she'll meow for about 5 minutes, stop & then start again later to let you know she's still waiting for company. She eats any kind of cat food & likes petting, but isn't particularly motivated by either. She hasn't been lap sitting yet (after 4 days in my home) but does sprawl out on the couch next to me to rest & purr. Marley is a great cat for an active household, but can adapt to whatever you have to offer. Marley and Fanta (maybe her sister) are friendly strays that someone decided deserved families rather than living outside, wondering where their next meal was coming from. They love one another, groom one another and snuggle. Marley also provides Fanta with the confirmation that all is well and she is in a safe place. Meet them both at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, during our weekly adoption event from 12-4pm. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
