This handsome fella is Tai. He purrs all the time! He wants to be loved but is a little standoff-ish at first. He will sit near you for a few pets but as the days go on, he will move closer and closer. Just be patient with him. Once he trusts you, he will spread across your lap like he owns you! He will greet you at the door, rub around your legs, and tell you when it's dinner time. Tai really is a great boy! He loves to toss the balls around and really needs another furry playmate, if possible, so he won't get bored. His sister, Tamecka, would be a great match! I'm sure Tai will be a wonderful companion for his new family and provide many hours of love and laughter. Meet siblings Tai and Tamecka at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our weekly adoption event. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix.
