Hello all! This is Saffron and she came to us as a stray, so we do not know much about her past before she came to OCAS. As you may can tell, Saffron has some thinning fur along her back and her hind legs. She has been examined by our Veterinarian and it has been determined that this issue is likely due to stress from being in the shelter environment, so finding a perfect home is essential for her. Saffron is a sweet lady, but she can become overstimulated in certain situations and would do well in a home where she can adjust to a calm routine, with a family who can have some patience with her. We recommend letting Saffron open up to you in her own time and taking things slowly. We do not know how Saffron is with children, dogs or other cats so please keep this in mind. If you have any questions, ask to speak with staff.
