Meet Shadow! She has an incredible story and we are so honored to be a part of that story for her and her babies. This sweet loveable girl is looking for a home she can call her very own.Piedmont Animal Rescue received an urgent call from Iredell County Animal Shelter as a last resort, they didn’t have the resources to help Shadow and her six babies. Shadow was too young to be a mom, but somehow she did it, she brought six tiny beautiful babies into the world. By the time PAR stepped in, the babies were already four weeks old. Wihtout PAR's intervention and taking this family of seven in, they were going to be euthanized. Shadow and her babies had been living outdoors and she was too young to take care of them by herself. We're so happy she didn't have complications while pregnant and giving birth. Can you imagine how scared she was? While at PAR, Mom and babies have given the best of the best to help them grow big and strong. While in our care they received life saving medical treatments, necessary vaccines and all will be spayed and/or neutured. Shadow has already been spayed and is ready for her next adventure.
