Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Just like the much loved cheesy snacks - this girl is much loved by the PAWS volunteers. PAWS' Cheeto doesn't leave an orange stain on your fingers though! Cheeto wants you to know that although all of the crunchy Cheetos are orange, only about 2-5% of ALL cats are orange and out of orange cats - only 20% are female. (She can't take the math any further because she doesn't have a calculator.) Cheeto rightfully claims that she is unusual - not only because she is not crunchy...unusual because she is a girl orange! Another great trait is that this girl is pretty much unflappable. She beckons you to come pay attention to her and s-t-r-a-n-g-e-r is not in her vocabulary. Cheeto loves gazing out her condo window until a volunteer is nearby and available to pet her. And she is here for that! All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee. Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.
