Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Purrcy isn't in the CARE foster system. She is listed as a courtesy and CARE isn't responsible for any issues with her or the adoption process.“I’ve been told that I have superpowers! Surely by this time in human evolution y’all know black cats possess specific, wonderful characteristics (get along better with other cats than most, nurture anyone (human, feline or canine) we sense needs caring attention, don’t shed (unless you insist on wearing white which also shows every other clumsy accident you have while eating or just living) and send healing energy with our soulful eyes. So, what could be more special than other black cats, you ask. Me! Not to brag, but due to an unfortunate encounter with a human years ago, I’m missing my right front leg. I’m not bitter and I’ve learned to trust humans again. I’m grateful it was only my leg that got the bullet, any other part and I might not be here. Enough about that. Just know that in addition to being compassionate, sensitive, and easy-going, I’m also playful, affectionate, tidy, and extremely well-mannered. I need NO special accommodations to make up for the part of me that’s missing; that’s my superpower. I can do anything any other cat can do (and maybe better). My foster Mom says I’m a bright spot in her day and she’ll miss me a lot, but she wants me to have my very own forever home because others might need a day brightener, too.” Purrcy is everything described and more. She gets along with other cats and pups. She doesn’t have experience w/very short humans, so maybe bigger would be best. But if well-trained/supervised, we’re happy to consider. Please submit an application (no obligation) if you’d like Purrcy’s rescue human to contact you. Otherwise, call 919-935-3792 for more information.
