Description:
"Queen Bee" sweet and spirited young adultSpirit grew up on a horse farm with other cats. She required immediate spay surgery in October 2023 and was surprisingly not a feral cat. Spirit wasn't used to be petted but she obviously enjoyed it given the purrs that erupted. She remains cautious and may always have that instinct, but she is truly a lovely companion, and very low maintenance. Spirit loves to join you on the couch or lie in a cozy bed. She plays with toys and gets along with other cats but doesn't play with them and is not amused by 4-month-old kittens. Spirit would probably prefer to be an only cat. She is most thankful her dish of canned food twice a day and talks to remind you it is mealtime! Spirit loves having her picture taken and is oh so photogenic! She prefers to be in charge, in other words, wait and she will come to you. She doesn't mind manicures as she lays down beside you versus holding and securing her for "nail trimming time." Spirit is very in tune with her surroundings. She prefers a quiet lifestyle so will probably not be suitable in a home with small children unless the children are very calm and respectful of her space. Spirit is fine with cat savvy dogs. She needs a patient adopter because she may need some time to trust. Spirit is negative for FeLV/FIV, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.
