Description:
Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.Hello. My name is Clam. I was dumped on the sidewalk here at CARA. I don't know why I was abandoned and I will never know but I am looking forward to a brighter future. The vet has evaluated me and is unsure why my back legs appear a bit weak. I have had many tests done to rule out disease and ultimately the vet thinks I am geriatric and that is the cause of my posture. I hope that despite being an older lady, you will take a chance and meet me. Older cats are so often overlooked I hope that does not happen to me. Can't wait to meet you!!To see more animals for adoption, please visit the CARA Website Our adoption fees are: Dogs: $250 Cats: $95 Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100 Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100 All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption Please call 919-774-9433, email [email protected], or visit www.cara-nc.org for information about this or other pets available for adoption. If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at [email protected]. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
