Noir (7 yrs old) Noir is a large, solid black cat with big gold/green eyes. While she's middle-aged, she has clearly been well-loved in her life. She is very affectionate, and she enjoys it when you stroke her head and pet all along her shoulders and back. After a couple of moments, she will turn on her side, wriggle a bit, and show you her belly. If you give her the slightest encouragement, she will climb into your lap for all the love you wish to give her, and she will return it in kind! If you like a kitty to follow you, keep you company, and investigate everything you do, Noir might be the cat for you. Noir is used to the comforts of home, and she can't wait until she can leave the shelter and go back to being adored and pampered. While she enjoys the company of humans, dogs are too much for her. She would prefer to be an only cat, so that she can focus on you with no competition from others. She really does get attached to her human, and would love it if you could be her one and only. If you can offer a welcoming home for this big cat, Noir would love to begin a long friendship with you and will come running to greet you whenever she sees you.
