Description:
Poppi is an adult, spayed female cat, born in 2022. She is a huge, 22 pound Maine Coon-type cat. She recently arrived at the shelter after her guardian passed away and no family could keep her. She spent some time at the pound before getting to us, and that means three transitions in a few days for her, after a big loss. So, she is feeling a little unsure about all her transitions and is hiding for now. She accepts being petted but she won't come out to us yet. We have to go to her and we are being very careful and supportive. She has been sedated and shaved in the past because her size makes it hard for her to groom her rear quarters.
