Description:
India is a smallish calico cutie with a lot of bright white coloring contrasted with dark orange & black; about 4 years old. (born 10/2020) She was being thrown out of her home into the cold winter outside (owner just didn't want her anymore, couldn't be bothered to try to find a new home for her) when she was rescued and became a Purrfect Friends kitty. SPECIAL NEEDS: India is uneasy & head-shy; she flinches when you reach toward her; acts like she's been hit/punished/mistreated/abused in the past & expects more of the same. Its best to be slow & definite & patient in your movements, then she'll allow petting and picking up. A tranquil home is a must; without young children. She's gentle and sweet, but timid. India takes convincing that you're a good human being and might even purr and appreciate your affection! She's been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to start a new life in a new forever home. Adoption fee ($60) includes Spay or Neuter, vaccinations, combo-tested - negative for FeLV & FIV, and micro-chipped.
