Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Tabby (Short Coat)

Description:

Archie is a handsome boyTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ("Feline Immunodeficiency Virus") and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Archie and his sister Ayla were found wandering in a park, struggling to survive as stray 3-month-old kittens. They were dehydrated, hungry, and scared. Archie constantly stayed close to his sister, Ayla, who had an injured front paw and could not get around very well. Once spotted, a small group of good Samaritans rescued them and, through some networking, delivered them to House of Mews for fostering and adoption. These kittens were friendly and acted like house pets despite being found outside; their previous family might have abandoned them. Archie is timid and will likely hide in a new environment. In a quiet environment, with the help of Ayla, Archie will adjust quickly and open up to become an affectionate tabby boy destined to be a couch potato who happily naps in human laps. He would love to be adopted with his sister Ayla or into a gently quiet home with a young, friendly resident feline friend like his sister. DOB 5/26/2024 Foster: CCL
