Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Ayla is sweet like honeyTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ("Feline Immunodeficiency Virus") and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Ayla and her brother Archie were found wandering in a park, struggling to survive as stray three-month-old kittens. They were dehydrated, hungry, and scared. Ayla was limping around next to her brother with an injured front paw. Once spotted, a small group of good Samaritans rescued them and, through some networking, delivered them to House of Mews for fostering and adoption. These kittens were friendly and acted like house pets despite being found outside; their previous family might have abandoned them. Ayla is sweet and docile, braver than her brother Archie. She will be the first to explore a new environment and interact with strangers. She has expressive eyes and begs for treats and attention from people. She is a purrer. When her foster humans are not home, Ayla entertains herself by playing with toys and wrestling with her brother. She is looking for a home that will accept her and her brother or with a friendly, welcoming resident feline friend. Approx. birth date: 5/26/2024 Foster: CCL
