Female Cat, Domestic Medium Hair

Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Hi there, my name is Bellestar and I am looking for a new home through PAWS-OK. They rescued me, my mom, and my three littermates from the Bethany Shelter in April. We all had caught upper respiratory infections there and mine was the most severe - affecting my eyes especially. For a while we though possibly my right eye would need to be removed, but the doc, at the time I was spayed, said it was healthy, just fogged over, and suggested a steriod ointment to help it. As of this bio, we are working on it. The eye gives me no trouble. I love to play with my siblings and do all kitten related things. (I don't like the ointment much though!) PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation. Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens. If you have any questions, please reach out for us at [email protected].
