Description:

This dynamic duo, lovingly nicknamed Dash and Jack Jack, are true found family! These loveable lads are not related, but were both in need of a friend and found each other in foster care! They have become companions and are looking for their forever home together! They play tag, wrestle, and nap together like they have been doing it all their lives. Dash is no Usain Bolt, but he is an adorable youngin' with a love for zoomies! Dash is an ~1-year-old tri-pawed kitty with lots of love and cuddles to give (seriously, he’s a cuddler, as I write this bio he is curled up on my lap purring away). Along with being a world class snuggler, Dash also has a gold medal in energy. He loves to run around and play with his stuffed toys and ribbon wand. Dash came to PAWS with a wound of unknown origin, and unfortunately had to have his back left leg amputated. Since his surgery in late January, his healing process has gone smoothly and he has adapted quickly to his tri-pawed life! He is having a fine time getting around, and will not need any special accommodations due to his amputation. Jack Jack is just as loving as he is energetic, and he spends his days chasing his wand toy, chirping at birds from the windowsill, and plopping himself right down on top of you, no matter what you’re up to. Jack will wiggle his way into your heart before you get a chance to blink—he’s irresistible! He’s the perfect combo of big-kitten energy and cozy lap cat, and he woos everyone he meets. Jack is a wonderfully social guy who has so much love to give all new friends, especially those that will play with him! He fills the room with personality, zooming around and doing acrobatics, and then letting it all hang loose with his hysterical belly up sleeping positions. He can get a little nippy and scratchy when he gets overexcited while playing. He’s getting much better with the appropriate redirection, but because of this, we don’t recommend him to live in a home with small children. **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!** FeLV+ adopters are also eligible for an Amazon gift card after adoption!
