Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Come meet these two cutie patooties! A nice mix of congenial and independent, Rueben and Luna would love to find a calm, quiet home where they can really shine! Reuben is a big boy and loves to sleep between his fosters on their bed, where he’s affectionate and loving. He also loves to play and especially loves a modified wand toy that has a toy mouse at the end - his favorite move is to grab it in his mouth and wander off with it. Occasionally he will hold on to it to 'play tug'! Luna is a little more on the shy side, keeps to herself and likes to have a comfy chair to relax in. She gets very flirty and vocal when it’s meal time, though! She is becoming a little bolder and when the mood strikes, will sit near her favorite people to watch some TV, or pop up onto a window sill to watch some street drama. **Luna and Reuben both have FIV. FIV is specific to the feline species, and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! And Luna and Reuben are quite calm and relaxed with each other, so are considered cat-friendly. Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative, as long as the cats get along without fighting.** Age: both ~6 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A48325 & A48326 Location: foster care- these pets are not at the shelter!
