Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Description:

Affectionate guy who will search high and low for a nap spot! Mello is a laser toy enthusiast who can run after that red light all day, while he also enjoys looking out windows and watching the world go by. He also loves his Boba tea plush more than anything. Mello is an affectionate cat who loves exploring every nook of his home to find a cozy place to cuddle up in and nap. A fun game to play is, Where is Mello right now? Sometimes you’ll have to look in every room to find the rascal. Mello is as deaf as a doorknob, so it’s great sneaking up on him and seeing how surprised and delighted he is to see that you found him. But Mello never stays away for long—he likes spending time with his humans and accompanying them from room to room. In particular, he loves shadowing you from station to station while you are cooking in the kitchen. Fortunately, though, he is not one to jump on tables and counters in search of a meal. At night he will find space on the bed where he doesn’t interfere with his owner’s sleep. If he can’t find any space, he’s content leaving the bed and going somewhere else. He is a thorough self-cleaner and aims well in the litter box. He sometimes gets lost in a daydream or snoozes the afternoon away under a backpack. He is tolerant of being picked up and seems to prefer when you hold him over your head with one hand like a basketball you are about to dunk. Mello quickly forgives you for giving him yucky medicine or for squeezing him too tight. He needs a bit of Doxycycline every night for his pillowfoot, but this condition does not diminish his quality of life or mobility at all. He is mysterious, scampering around at random hours, chasing invisible objects, and switching up his routines each day. Hopefully, you’ll get to enjoy the wonders of his everyday discoveries with him! Age: 9 years How I came to PAWS:stray Animal ID#:57064 I am not at the shelter.
