Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
After their former owners could no longer keep them, this endearing pair of sisters are looking for a home where they can love their new people as well as each other. Zeus is a gentle ball of love, excited to greet new people or you (with a cuddle) when you come home—when not observing all things moving. Once she gets used to you (she adapts pretty well), she asks for belly rubs, and she makes cute sparrow chirps when she plays. She likes to hang out in the bathtub and tries to use her “thumb” (she’s polydactyl) to open drawers. If she likes you, she may nap on your lap. Energetic Shadow is equal parts sassy and cautious. She takes a little more time to adjust to new people or places, but once she gets used to you, she will stare you down until you pet her. She loves being brushed, thrives on attention, and is not afraid to ask for it—on her terms. Chatty when hungry, she also chirps when she plays. She loves chasing stuffed mice and playing hide-and-seek with her sibling, from whom she will gladly steal food. Like a patient sister, Zeus has stopped caring about it. Zeus and Shadow would thrive in a home where humans will love them but not force love on them. Age: 3 years How I came to PAWS: Owner surrender Animal ID#: 50559 and 50558 We are not at the shelter.
