Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
What a sweetheart! Fuzz, AKA Blackie, is a very laid-back. mild mannered cat who is looking for a lap to lay on. Severely underweight and suffering from a nasty facial wound when he was rescued, Blackie's condition quickly improved with proper vet care and good food. Now a touch on the chunky side, Fuzz is extremely happy living the cozy, indoor life style. He shares a comfy "apartment" with his room mate, Elmer, inside his foster Mom's small private shelter. His only complaint is that he is not getting nearly as much human attention and lap time as he would like to have!Blackie tested positive for FIV and he is also diabetic. Neither of those issues concerns him in the least. He does not mind his insulin injections at all but he does need a loving owner who will give him the extra care he needs. Financial assistance is available if desired to cover the costs of the insulin and related vet care. There is something about Fuzz that will capture your heart. Perhaps it is that intense gaze of his that focuses on you and seems to say, "Please, please stay with me and pet me." Fuzz and his room mate co-exist peacefully but have no real interest in each other. Fuzz will be blissfully happy as an only cat but can also live with others as long as they are equally mellow and do not demand anything of him.Fuzz's estimated date of birth is 08/05/18. His litter box manners are excellent. He is a shorthair with a very soft, dense coat which led to his nickname, Fuzz.If you are a special person who wants to make a difference in the life of a special cat, please consider Fuzz. He will make a difference in your life too.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home.
