Description:
Ray Charles was found in the middle of the street by one of the wonderful Whitehall Petsmart employees on her way to work. He was in rough shape with his eyes pasted closed with infection. Even though our rescue is very full, we couldn’t say no to helping this poor little boy. Unfortunately one of his eyes had ruptured and the other was infected, which caused tissue growth giving his eye a clouded look. He still has vision in the clouded eye and does everything a normal kitten does. He's playful, spunky, and affectionate and purrs a ton.The ruptured eye will be removed when he is neutered. The other eye just needs to be kept clean, no other ongoing care is needed.Ray would love a home to run and play to his heart's content and then conk out sleeping after!Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to... This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
