Remy is a courtesy listing. Here is what her caretaker has to say: Our sweet, beautiful, chunky Remy is looking for a home where she's the only kitty. We have tried everything since adopting her, and she's not had an easy life, poisoned before she had turned 1. She is being bullied by our other cats, chased from her food, water, and any lap she's enjoying. She just wants to be a lap cat, a lover, wants all of your attention and a bed buddy...and that's not our life with the other 5 kitties. We have come to the painful conclusion that the only way to give Remy the quality of life that she so desperately wants is to find her another family. She now lays alone in the hallway crying to get in a bedroom, but there are cats in every room, and battles will go on all night. Or she sleeps on the bathroom rug, waiting and hoping for middle of the night bathroom trips. She is INDOOR only and ok with our 2 dogs. She's never bonded to any of our cats, even littermates. She's playful, sweet, loves to be brushed and petted, LOVES catnip, is good w getting her nails trimmed. I really hope someone is looking for a sweet kitty to add to their family. I will keep her forever rather than dump her at a shelter. I love her and she loves us - it's the 5 other cats that are the problem. She is spayed, FLV negative, 6yrs. Her special diet is Gerbers Turkey or Chicken jarred baby food (due to the poisoning). She also loves and tolerates Delectable lickable treats.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home.
