Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Meet Tiki! This cute young female, estimated date of birth 09/26/21, is a happy, active kitty who loves petting and attention from her foster Mom. Tiki was living outside along with her litter of three kttens, receiving regular handouts on the back porch of a homeowner who is fond of cats. A concerned neighbor easily trapped Tiki and one of her kittens and the two came into Cat Shack foster care. Tiki was shy at first but it wasn't long before she started showing signs of wanting to be friendly. She now anxiously comes running at feeding time, more interested in being petted and fussed with than she is in the food. She loves a good head rub and often flops down on her side, rolling around and asking for more. She is always very disappointed when her busy foster mom has to move on with other things. Tiki is living in a large multi-cat foster facility and has no problem getting along with the other cats, though she does not seek any real interaction with them. She will need a little time to warm up to new people and a new environment, but is a kitty who very much wants loving attention. Tiki is in perfect health, negative for feline leukemia and FIV and has excellent litter box manners. Once she adapts, she will thrive in a home in which she receives the attention she craves. Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
