Female Cat, Tabby

Tabby (Short Coat)

Description:

Little Bit is a beautiful botail girl. It takes her a while to earn your trust. Once she does, she's silly and playful and will sometimes let you pick her up and cuddle her. She loves catnip and gets really goofy when you give it to her. She's food motivated, and gets lovable when she's hungry or wants you to turn the faucet on for her to drink from. She'll freely let you let her when she's eating or drinking. I can walk up to her and pick her up and hug on her and pet her. Until recently, she spent most of her time perched on the cat tree or the kitchen counter where she could see where the other cats were. She has suddenly started running all over the house exploring areas where she's never been in the two years she has been here. She'll also go into the spare bedroom where those two fatty kitties hang out, and will even lay on the opposite side of the bed from them sometimes, probably because they just lay there and barely move and don't try to play with her. She likes to visit with us a lot when we're in the bathroom. When my stepson still lived at home, after a couple of weeks she would sleep in the bed with him because there were no other cats downstairs and he'd close the door to keep them out so she'd be at ease. She is very afraid of other cats. She tolerates our 2 big dogs as long as they don't get too playful with her. She really seems like she WANTS to be more affectionate with people, and it shows through sometimes. I think if she were in a home with no other animals, and with some patience, she'd really start to flourish. She definitely shouldn't be around young children. She was very traumatized by the little girl in her previous home. She was traumatized again when her owner passed away.
