Description:
Vara is a sweet, 4 month old, female torti kitten. She has a soft, beautiful, dilute tortoiseshell coat in light grays, cream and buff colors. A soft brushing will keep her coat shiny. In the heat of mid-July, a man spent a day and a half trying to find the kittens he could hear in his large shop. Two tiny girls, both under four ounces, were found and brought to the shelter; going straight to foster care. Sister, Ada, was too sick and didn’t make it. Vara, whose name means “blessing”, is now a big, healthy, young lady who very much wants a forever home. Vara gets along well with all ages of cats and people but has never met a dog. Her favorite toys are things she can bat and carry around. Vara eats whatever wet or dry food is provided, with Greek yogurt being a special treat. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555.
