Description:
QUICKLY COMES OUT OF HER SHELL AT PLAYTIME DOB 7/6/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Darla, a sweet, docile, demure, and initially shy Bombay mix gal who nevertheless easily comes out of my shell – especially at playtime. I’m very bonded to my momma Reeces and my twin sister Zoey. Sis, the young male resident kitty, and I pounce and tumble, climb and wrestle, and when Zoey and I are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Zoey and I are known as the #Beryl-babies because our momma Reeces birthed us during the midst of the hurricane. A nice lady had been feeding Reeces on the front porch of her apartment. Lo and behold, the next thing she knew -- there was a litter of kittens on her front porch. She cared for us all but left us outside. Month-old kittens can be curious, and we climbed up into the motor of a neighbor’s car. The neighbor didn’t realize this until she started driving and then heard meowing. Fortunately she stopped and discovered Zoey and me under the hood. She realized that we needed to be safe inside, so she contacted her cat lady friend who’s a HOPE volunteer. Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster my little family. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be you? Consider adopting me with my bonded-sister Zoey. Although we’re available separately, two’s more fun than one. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we had a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 24-0811-G204 If you are interested in Darla and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at [email protected] , and a volunteer will get back to you.
