Alicia is one of three sisters waiting for her forever home. Saved from a rough life in deep south Texas she has learned that regular meals are amazing for a growing kitten and that people are good. She loves to snuggle, play, chase her foster mom around, follow her everywhere. More info at siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/FAQ ALL SOS KITTIES Each cat will come to their new home with: Neutered or spayed Age-appropriate vaccines Individually tested negative for FeLV FIV Heartworm negative Microchipped DOGS & CATS Unless otherwise noted, they are compatible with calm dogs who are cat-friendly. They are also compatible with cat-friendly cats with similar energy levels.If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along. FLUFFY KITTIES Adopter must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats. TRANSPORT DETAILS: Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $185 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost will be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $125. These costs are the responsibility of the adopter.
