Description:

Meet Severus Snape! Here is a cat named Severus; Many think of him as decorous; With his surname of Snape; And his menacing black cape; It's delightful to find he's amorous! This boy is always happy to see you, and his waving tail will show it. Severus Snape is an all black cat with long fluffy fur and a slight light grey undercoat in some spots with beautiful green eyes. He is an affectionate kitty who loves to give soft head bumps as if he is giving you a kiss. Mr. Snape is a playful dude and has a lot of energy. It is fun to watch and play with him. His absolute favorite toy is a rope or a fleece strip tied to a wand with a small toy on the other end to bounce around --- this cat can jump high and he's so graceful when flying through the air. Again he is very playful! Now Severus Snape IS NOT fond of other cats; he doesn't know how to cat-socialize. His foster mom thinks he was dumped in the neighborhood because he was found in a side yard howling and very afraid but still approachable. That is how he found his foster home and came to CAWS for adoption. Severus has been around two large dogs, and while he was not afraid of them, but they didn't approach him much either. Mr. Snape will do better in a home with older teensand adults with no other cats. He may be shy or grumpy at first, but once he knows you, he longs for your attentionand love. He will happily zip around your home. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
