Description:
Meet Tilly: Your Star CompanionAre you looking for a cat that has moved past the curtain-climbing, door-dashing phase? Meet Tilly, a beautiful tortoiseshell who still loves to play but has a more settled view of things. She has spent her entire three years indoors, and would make an excellent companion for those seeking a slightly older, calmer feline friend.Tilly is truly a sight to behold with her stunning mottled black and orange coat, accented by a unique eggshell-colored patch that resembles a bikini, and a ringed tail that looks like it belongs on another cat! She is a character. They say tortoiseshell cats are like fire-y redheads, and she would agree. She has tortitude! You’ll always know by her expressive face or twitching tail how she is feeling. At the same time, she craves human attention and would like nothing better than to curl up next to you on the couch. She is intuitive and seems to have a sense of humor. For example, she likes to chase your feet if you try to leave her behind, with soft paws of course. And the other day I took a picture of her and when the flash went off she came up and swatted my hand! But she loves the attention. She is also partial to crinkle balls, and loves to play with her favorite interactive ball toy. (*included with her adoption*)A family crisis forced Tilly’s first family to give her up. She has now been in foster care for over 6 months - overlooked for younger, energetic kittens. The ones that get you with their sharp claws and teeth, don't listen and, yes, sneak outside. Tilly has developed a charming sense of reserve and is well aware of the word “No”. She makes me laugh. She keeps me on my toes. Yet she's always up for a good face massage.Tilly loves to be the center of attention and would thrive as the only cat in the household. To learn more about Tilly and to adopt, please submit an online application and an adoption counselor will contact you.
