Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

My name is Nimo and I will be your best friend especially if you give me food! I spent the first few years of my life on the streets of Kuwait where I developed a nasty infection in my wound on my face. Sadly, it got so bad I lost half of my jaw so I'm always sticking my tongue out at you. My foster says it makes me look like my hero Kittypool. I really hope to meet him one day because it is clearly not me in that costume! I like people, but I am very nervous around them at first. I have dealt with a lot of less than nice humans in my time so I have to be sure they won't be mean to me. It may take me a few weeks to let you pet me, but once I do, I will cuddle right up next to you and demand them. I will also never let you forget what time dinner is. Never. Although I can live with other cats, the other cats can't be alphas. I survived a lot of scary cats so when they hiss and growl, I have to get defensive because that was the only way to survive. However, I'm never aggressive with humans and will just run if I'm afraid. This is why it might be best for me to go to a home where I'm the only cat, but I do like playing with foster kittens! As long as my face is kept clean and my tongue is checked every so often to be sure it is being properly moistened, there aren't any foreseeable issues with my jaw. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. See our calendar of adoption events at https://fancycats.org/(scroll towards bottom) You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
