Description:
Soda Pop, now 5 weeks in foster care, continues to bloom and show his wonderful personality. He deserves his own forever home - he is going to make someone a loving companion! Soda Pop is a very affectionate cat, who loves human interaction and contact, and so would love to join a home where someone can give him a lot of company throughout the day. He is talkative when his foster family enters the room, telling them about his day; he has the cutest chatter. He enjoys when his foster parents break out the bird wand toy because his hunting instincts are ignited – he has excellent play manners and is the cutest toy stalker. Soda Pop is not a picky eater and loves freeze-dried chicken treats and Churu (who doesn’t!), but his foster parents have upgraded his wet and dry food to help soothe his tummy issues; it seems to be helping. While Soda Pop is named after a character from “The Outsiders,” this handsome boy no longer cares to be outdoors. He is still tentative when near a window, but feels safer in enjoying watching outdoor happenings when his foster parents are near him assuring him that he is not alone or in any danger. Soda Pop hasn’t met his foster family’s two cats yet, so his behavior with other cats is unknown at this time. Soda Pop is a real gem who just needs to be seen by someone who’s looking for an affectionate, loving, playful, and friendly boy who will offer him quality companionship and reassurance that he is safe and loved. Because Soda Pop is still sensitive to lots of activity and noise, and hides away when he feels uncertain, he does not attend adoption events. His foster parents are happy to have interested potential adopters come meet him, or reach out to them with any questions you might have about him. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
