An approved adoption application is required to meet me in my foster home -- fill out an application today! Our mailing address is Reston, VA and our cats fostered in NoVA and DC homes. Washington, D.C.- Suburban Virginia/Maryland Area inquiries only, please! FFGW Adoption Policy is that all kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs. If not part of a bonded pair, you need to have a compatible cat 1 year old or younger already in the family. Buffy is a beautiful but mostly blind calico. She has recently had her left eye surgically removed and maintains very limited vision in her right eye. She navigates her foster's 3 level SFH with expertise and confidence. She is very smart and very social. She will follow her foster 'mom' around the house throughout the day and really loves to play with her favorite toys; often carrying them from room to room depending on where her "people" are during the day. Buffy loves to sit on the couch with you and also sleep on the bed (on you) at night. Ultimately, she wants to be where you are including your lap during nap time. She is very affectionate. She is sensitive to loud or startling noises and would prefer a quieter environment as she replies heavily on her sense of hearing and her whiskers to move throughout the house. Loud, unexpected noises can cause her to go into a bit of a panic and she will run into a wall or door if startled or scared. Buffy is interested in playing with other friendly cats if available in the home. She is also ok with gently, cat-friendly dogs.
