Washington, D.C.- Suburban Virginia/Maryland Area inquiries only, please! Sweet Njord came to FFGW after Hurricane Helene hit an area he was living in. He had been put in a dog crate which blew away and was found several yards from where he originally was. He was left behind, and we're lucky to have him with us. Njord has had small trauma to the right front leg, the wrist area subluxated, and it did not heal straight and results in a bent over and crooked front leg at the wrist like area. Njord has no idea he has this injury. He jumps, he plays, he walks and runs. His wrist has been checked out by our partner Vets, plus a respected orthopedic surgeon. Treatment options are to leave it alone right now as he is walking well despite the limp and not in pain. If the wrist becomes painful over time, he could need corrective surgery. FFGW will supply that surgery. This boy is a true love bug and adores being where the people are!
