Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

This girl was adopted from us five years ago, and recently was returned to our care due to medical problems that her adopter did not deal with. Shadi had lost weight because she was unable to eat and drink comfortably, and we needed to find out why. Upon exam, it was found that she had a large polyp in her ear, that ended up being a real bear to deal with. We opted for immediate surgery, since Shadi was struggling to be comfortable, and in the process of removing that polyp, another one was discovered in her airway and was interfering with her ability to swallow easily. After both were removed, Magic Shadi has bounced back to her pre-polyp good-natured self, and is recovering nicely! We are watching carefully for her to be her normal self, and she is safe in foster care until adoption.
